About the IAS and IAS Lecture Series
The Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences and Humanities (IAS) is an umbrella structure and a no-wall institution intended to assist the AMU academic community in increasing its international research collaboration within social sciences and humanities.
In the academic year 2023/4, the IAS Invited Lecture Series organized at the Faculty of English, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan focus on the theme Sociolinguistic Aspects of Historical Orthography. They are organized by prof. Marcin Krygier and prof. Hanna Rutkowska from the Department of the History of the English Language.

In the academic year 2022/3, the themes were grouped around three themes:
